Mentality: Our Code of Conduct

​At Mentality, our mission is the strengthening of men through authentic brotherhood. To keep our community a safe and supportive space for all blokes and their families, we live by these standards:

1. Respect is Non-Negotiable

Mateship is built on respect. We have zero tolerance for violence, bullying, or coercive control in any form. This includes how we treat each other at events and, crucially, how we treat our partners and children at home.

2. Accountability & "Turning it Around"

We believe every man has the capacity to grow.

If you are struggling: We are here to listen.

If you have caused harm: Real mateship means holding you accountable. We support men who take the path of acknowledging their actions and actively seeking professional help to change their behavior.

3. A Safe Space for Victims

Mental health struggles and domestic violence can affect anyone. We provide a judgment-free referral pathway for men who are victims of abuse, ensuring you don’t have to face those challenges alone.

4. Professional Boundaries

While we are a community of mates, we are not a clinical service. We are here for the Connection and Conversation, but we will always refer you to our clinical partners or professional services for specialized support, especially regarding Family and Domestic Violence (FDV).
